Haptic Slip Rendering for Improved Grasp Stability in VR Teleoperation (MSc Thesis)

  • Developed a full VR–haptics closed-loop system integrating Unity/C#, custom fingertip hardware, and serial communication. Conducted a controlled user study (N=21) with over 2M frames of data. Results showed ~30% faster first success with haptics, angular error reduced from ~45° to ~18°, and multimodal feedback improved user confidence (NASA-TLX >6 vs. ~4.5 unimodal).

Circuit & System Integration
